New Jersey based fractional trading and digital investments infrastructure platform DriveWealth closed $450 million Series D round led by Insight Partners and Accel, valuing the fintech at ~2.85bn, a sharp uptick since the last round. The funding round also witnessed participation from Greyhound Capital, Softbank Vision Fund, Base 10 Partners, FTX, and FlightDeck as well as existing backers Point72 Ventures and Fidelity International Strategic Ventures. The startup has raised over $550 million funding till date.
The funds will be used to expand the product and service offerings, widen its talent base, and strenghthen the technological platform, as well as leverage strategic opportunities.
Founded in 2012 by Julie Coin and Robert Cortright, DriveWealth is a digital trading technology company that develops cloud-based, API-driven brokerage infrastructure.
