Israeli Fintech Capitolis Raises $90M In Series C Funding Round Led By Andreesen Horowitz

Capital markets Saas startup Capitolis raised $90 million in a Series C funding round led by Andreesen Horowitz, and also witnessed participation of existing investors Index Ventures, Sequoia Capital, S Capital, Spark Capital, SVB Capital, Citi, J.P. Morgan and State Street. This round brings the startup’s total funds raised to $170 million.

founded in 2017 by Gil Mandelzis, Igor Teleshevsky and Thomas Glocerand, Capitolis is a financial resource optimization provider for capital markets. At present, the startup works with 75 financial institutions, hedge funds and asset managers, and uses technology to connect capital market participants creatively build new opportunities around under-utilized capital.

Capitolis mentioned it intends to use the funds from this round to drive further innovation in its technology and product development, bolster customer support and sales and grow its team from 90 employees to over 150 by year’s end.
