Accel along with other investors participated in Series B funding round of $45 million in Genesis Global, the UK based B2B fintech startup and a software solutions provider to the capital markets industry.
Tribeca Venture Partners, Illuminate Financial, GV and Salesforce Ventures, along with Genesis’s clients XP Investments, ING, London Clearing House and Citi, also participcated in the funding round led by Accel. The current round brings the total funds raised by Genesis to $50 million. The latest round will enable the fintech startup to enhance its technology platform and grow its client base.
Genesis Global Technology, a London based fintech company focused on the capital markets industry, was founded in 2012 by James Harrison and Stephen Murphy.
